Week 11 - 25 July..

Rather than telling you about my training I thought I would show you some glimpses of what it's like to swim at 5.30am when the air temperature is only 2 degrees! You can tell by the steam rising from the surface that the water temperature is a bit warmer.. Up to 30km in the pool per week at the moment and it's all going well.

  5. Way to go John. Knowing joy of a short dip in the water along Wellington's south coast it is certainly a refreshing swim you are in for. Looking forward to watching the training progress!!!

  6. "READY STEADY ... GO!!!". I always remember the slaps on the lower back you used to give us as a coach :-). I may need to come over and administer a few "motivators" if you need the help lol. Good luck... and get a waterproof iPod :-) x
